Log Files
Like many other Web sites, AutoExpro.com makes use of log files. The information inside the log files includes internet protocol ( IP ) addresses, type of browser, Internet Service Provider ( ISP ), date/time stamp, referring/exit pages, and the number of clicks to analyze trends, administer the site, track user’s movement around the site, and gather demographic information. IP addresses and other such information are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable.

Newsletter
AutoExpro does maintain a newsletter which visitors may signup for voluntarily using the subscription form in out footer and at the end of blog posts. To subscribe you must provide your email address via the MailChimp subscription form and confirm subscription using the double-optin form. By subscribing to the AutoExpro.com newsletter you consent to receiving occasional emails from AutoExpro. AutoExprol does not share your information.
Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection. An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. Please see the Gravatar service privacy policy for more information. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
We use Akismet on AutoExpro to help prevent spam. Any comments submitted through this service are not saved on our servers unless they were marked as false positives, in which case we store them long enough to use them to improve the service to avoid future false positives. We also use Subscribe to Comments Reloaded to manage comment subscriptions. By providing your email address you consent to receive new comments or comment reply notifications for the post based on your selection. Your email will only be used for these notifications.

AutoExpro.com takes all measures reasonably necessary to protect against the unauthorized access, use, alteration, or destruction of potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information.
Your Data Rights

CalOPPA is the first state law in the nation to require commercial websites and online services to post a privacy policy.
